A Memorial Service was held at Soldiers Tower at Hart House
on the University of Toronto Campus for Dr. Ross Tilley (1904-1988)
No Tombstone or Memorial Marker has been identified in Toronto or elswhere in Canada. As a retired Group Captain, he should qualify for a Marker in the RCAF Plot at Prospect Cemetery in Toronto!
Recent information has come to light since the February 36, 2026 presentation of
"The Dr. Ross Tilley Story" to the UofT History Club.
Apparently following this Service, his Ashes were scattered by his wife around the shores of Lilly Lake and their cottage near the Town of Rosseau, in Muskoka.
See the following page for an Image and further desription of this unusual event!
