Ross Tilley's Aunt Florence married Alfred N. Mitchell. They had two daughters, Helen Elizabeth and Mary Frances. In 1939, Mary Frances Mitchell, Dr. Ross Tilley's niece, married Alan Edward “Doc” Gallie, eldest son of Professor W. E. Gallie.
